Acer P244W – the First 24″ Full HD 16:9 LCD Monitor

Acer announced the P244W LCD, “world’s first 24″ full High Definition (FHD) monitor with 1080p resolution and 16:9 ratio”, at the 2008 Computex Taipei show. The P244W has Acer Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) technology that “improves the gradation and detail”, a contrast ratio up to 20,000:1, 2ms response time, a HDMI port, and a touch-sensitive OSD (onscreen display). Acer didn’t provide info on availability and pricing for the new monitor.
