ATI Radeon HD 4830 Graphics Card Launched

AMD today introduced the ATI Radeon HD 4830 graphics card, a lower-end 4800 Series model priced at “less than $150″. The Radeon 4830 features a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface, 640 stream processing units (4850 & 4870 have 800 SPUs), and AMD’s second generation Unified Video Decoder (UVD 2.0) for smooth HD video playback. The GPU supports Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and ATI CrossFireX Multi-GPU technologies. Radeon HD 4830-based video cards are expected to be available immediately.
