Price was certainly right ,I was looking for something ranged between 400 to 500 $. And I like the price first but I didn't like the AMD because I had some good and painful experienced with an amd processor. I was dead set for core 2 duo or at least pentium R and I found couple but none of them came close to compaq f6fnr in other specifications. 250gb , multi dvd burner with light scribe, nvidia graphic chip instead of intel and of course window vista home premium instead of basic. I forgot one more thing , that 2 full GB of ram instead of just one like other on discount. I was gonna take toshiba intel pentium R 2 core with 80 GB with 1 GB of ram and vista home. but when I saw this one I close my eye shut about AMD and took it home.
Processor seem to be a bit slow at first but after disabling usual vista crabs like search indexing and UAC control and other mambo jumbo. It fly really well, Only downside it's that no bluetooth build in but I am really getting greedy for a mare 500 buck. When I brought mine in bestbuy, they only got two left and told me that they don't have it in stock anymore. Great deal if you ask me.

Hi i brought this card about a year ago now and found it did have some issues. for example: over heating, and unstable FPS on crysis depending on the temp's of the room lol. So what i did was strap a 60mm fan over the GPU heat sink with cables ties, and also for good measure a 80mm over the main heat sink as this does get very hot lol. by doing this ive sorted the temputures out and are not at 40c idle and 45C. i Also ive overclocked as the temp's were good and rech a stable 720Mhz with a bus speed of 925Mhz. run smoothly usning the 8800 driver ;) best card ive had in ages!!!

Hi, I have tested today the 6400's temperature during Crysis CPU Benchmark at 1680x1050, Medium Settings. Most of the time, the CPU temp was between 45C-48C. It didn't go above 48C.

I gave Best Buy an opportunity to show me any machine that was within $50 of Circuit City's special. They couldn't do it. The salesman told me I may as well go to Circuit City because he wouldn't be able to come close to that. He also stated, "You get what you pay for."
We bought 2 of the A215's, added a 2gb dimm (also on sale at Circuit City) and are quite impressed with the speed and beauty of the machine! We are very happy with our new systems!

Michael, ebuyer forum says the Radeon 7000 requires a 300W PSU, but that's unofficial.

Unfortunately, GeCube doesn't say nothing about PSU requirements for the 7000

Hi,

I have a small factor Dell Dimention 4300S machine with a 180W power supply. My question is, how much power does this card consume? In other words, can my power supply handle this card without a problem?

Thanks a lot,
Michael

actually installing ram is stupid easy, u turn ur notebook off, take off the cover, and sliding the ram in, and then putting the cover back on and turning ur notebook back on. HOW HARD IS THAT.

It's unfortunate the Compaq Presario V6719NR requires an extra 1GB of memory in order to work properly. It's not easy to install, an extra 1GB, either. Your lucky if you find a deal on another 1GB memory. In my opinion, the trouble is not worth the low price unless a company is willing to install it for free and have it available at a reasonable price - no more than $50. The average consumer, and most computer geeks, can barely do this.

This deal has expired. Sorry, I can't tell if it will be available again. Currently, the closest deal to this is the HP a6300t ($299) + 17" LCD ($120) for $419.
