First Intel Core i7 LGA1366 CPU Coolers Available
The first aftermarket processor coolers that support the new Intel Core i7 Socket LGA1366 CPUs are now available.
Here’s a list of 1366-compatible coolers that I found today.
- Asus Triton 81 ($69.00) – Features four-way airflow design with 90mm dual fan for a great heat dissipation. (mWave)
- Thermaltake CL-P0401 Volcano v1 ($54.00) – “4 heatpipes of total 963mm in length seamlessly connecting with dual V architecture fins to dissipate heat quickly and evenly from the heat source; 110mm fan within the Dual-V architecture can push its cooling performance to the maximum”. (mWave)
- Vigor Monsoon III LT ($59.99) – Dual 120mm fan CPU cooler with four Cu heat pipes. (NewEgg)
- Nexus FLC-3000 ($54.99) – Its fan, fins and heatpipes are at a 30° angle which creates a “perfect air flow” over the motherboard. (HF)
- Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme 1366 RT CPU Cooler ($67.99) – Heatsink Factory notes that Thermalright’s Ultra-120 eXtreme-1366 RT shipment continues to be delayed. Instead, HF has created a kit which is identical to the Ultra-120 eXtreme-1366 RT. The 1366 RT heatsink is identical to the Ultra-120 eXtreme so included the 120mm Fan Holder and 1366 Bolt Kit. (HF)
- Thermaltake V1 AX CL-P0508 CPU Cooler ($49.99) – Features a 110×25mm cooling fan mounted in the center of the heatsink. (Crazy PC)
- Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 Ultra Silent CPU Cooler ($67.99) – Available for preorder. “The NH-U12P SE1366 is a special edition for Intel Core i7 that includes the highly reliable, easy-to-use SecuFirm2™ mounting system for LGA1366 as well as Noctua’s pro-grade NT-H1 thermal compound and two NF-P12 120mm fans for superb quiet cooling performance on Core i7 CPUs,” the product description says. (HF)
- Cooler Master V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP ($68.57) – Available for preorder. It has 8 copper heatpipes, 4 modularized aluminum fin arrays, and an external speed controller. (Amazon)
