Teriffic monitor for this price. I just took delivery of one from Newegg yesterday. Mine cost $289.99 plus $14.17 for shipping, or $304.16 minus the $50 rebate. Even though I would have had to pay sales tax of 6% buying at Circuit City, it would have been cheaper to buy there.
The local CC newspaper ad printed for the Sunday news didn’t show this deal and I’m not sure why.
About the monitor itself, I have a VX 2235wm, same basic item without the Ipod dock, and have been using it for six months now. The only drawback is that it’s not height adjustable and may be a tight fit if you use it on a PC desk with a hutch, as I do mine. We liked it enough I decided to buy another for my home office.
Update to earlier post: The monitor is not in stock in any local store within 75 miles of where I live, and not currently available online thru CC. It’s worth it to me now to have paid the extra $10 to obtain it, as I have been very disappointed with CC’s “out of stock” policy before.
